For a while Rhode Island decriminalized sex work and seemed to work and Nevada has it legalized it and it seems like it is doing well as well. So why do people assume we would have the same issues that we have today? I get limits on it (can't be a totally free market) but it would be better to be tracked than to have a festering market of more unsavory elements. I really don't get why bringing in to the open is so derided. Even St. Augustine was for it, albeit as a second best alternative.
This frustrates me as the one candidate I wanted to vote for was for personal responsibility, but does not believe in allowing people to fuck up. It is frustrating that we are in the 21st century that we cannot have an adult conversation about this topic. Sorry about the frustration, but I was doing research and the amount of government interference he wanted over this one instance is astounding.
