Currently I work for an investment bank in the back office. I make decent money, but I am stuck on an aspect that puts me in front of a decent amount of people. In my spare time I chat with friends about the market and have made them a decent amount of money. I have also made myself a decent amount of money and when I was younger I picked a stock that was at 3 dollars and went up to 50. As I mentioned I am more administrative but have the opportunity to gain my licenses. I have also thought about taking up programming to speed up my capital accumulation, but seems like it is filled with people who are passionless about it. So I am wondering what would be the easiest way to be a full time investor? I feel like I would be a good investor but I am wondering if I should leverage my experience with financial service or if I should do this part time. Anyone have experience trying to be an investor?
