Trust and Higher Level Excitement.

Post Body

I was thinking about why I liked my friends and why they opened my mind about things and in essence it was because I could trust them. I think about smoking weed with my friends and later doing psychadelics and I reali d I could trust them. I can't speak for every INTJ, but at least for me I am willing to take risks for higher levels of excitement, but I am going to need to trust you before I do that. Whether it is psychadelics, polyamory, going to a weird country, flying a plane, etc. those require trust.

This leads to a paradox. People want excitement. That is not to bash a sporting event or an emotional song or whatever makes someone tic, but it seems to me that when people say excitement, they mean quick burst of emotion vs an actual semi dangerous or dangerous situation. I am not going to go on and race about all these things unless I can trust someone and this creates a paradox. You have a lot of stuff, but people want low emotional bursts. It is a tad bit odd.
