I’m an INTJ female, and both online and in person I have people telling me I text/talk too much and I give too many details, I’m “long-winded”. First it was that I don’t give enough context for things and then I’m vague or “trying to be mysterious” but then when I opened up I was told I was giving too much information. I am introverted but I do not want to isolate anymore as I don’t think it’s healthy for me. I am trying to make new friends and associates and I feel so discouraged feeling like I should just shut up.

Are INTJs just too longwinded, is it a me problem, or are we dealing with people who have short attention spans and want a TL:DR version of everything? I’ve always loved reading books and listening to others stories, I’m not used to this.
