37-year-old woman. I find myself staging "LARP" dates where I dress to the nines, treat a man to a fancy place, and listen to his life story. Not any particular man, more of a pattern. I do not have any romantic designs on these men because they are not assertive/plan/show enough consideration for me, but more this is how I would like to be treated. I would venture to guess that it is prevalent that dating is stifled because people are not given time/date (activity)/place to accept an offer of romantic interest. Any other women engaged in "LARP" dates as a way to keep themselves social and test their currency? Do the men know that these are "LARP" dates because they do not reciprocate or do they think you are really into them?
