I hate it when people talk about themselves A LOT.

Post Body

I find it really frustrating when people talk about themselves excessively.

Or maybe it's just the INTJ in me that dislikes being the focus of the conversation all the time. I also feel awkward receiving compliments as they often seem insincere or forced.

I've went on dates with a few men & I also have friends who are self-absorbed, and when I reach my limit, I tend to stay silent and let my facial expressions convey my "IDGAF" attitude.

However, I do understand that people might see me as trustworthy and feel comfortable opening up to me.

Fellow INTJs, how do you handle conversations where the other person constantly talks about themselves? I find it really intolerable.
