Stimulating Activities That Reward Strategy.

Post Body

I don't mean to brag, but I am a decent investor. I also sense I have an intuitive gut for a lack of a better term (not perfect though). I have been realizing one thing I have been lacking is stimulation in my life as investing has been more of a lazy drip (up about 17% for the month, but I just got back in and it is still a small amount unlike before). However, I have realized when there is not enough stimulation in my mind, I tend to go stir crazy. I really like Systems Theory and Decision Theory/Game Theory and I found the ideas behind Chess Programming and Poker Theory fascinating. I am thinking of doing a deep dive into this, along with some other stimulating stuff as well as dropping some weight.

This begs the question, what are some high reward activities that can keep us busy? I know for some people this will vary, but mine seem to be:

-Investing (both speculative and value)

-Systems Theory/Game Theory

-Programming

-Poker

-Travel

I think the only issue with programming is outside building a startup idea (I am testing one), the risk just is not there. Poker and investing do seem to have risk to it, which is kind of nice. Travel is high reward, but is the one exception to wanting more risks. Are there any calculated risk activities you like?
