Acted like myself
Post Body

I think I might have bombed my interview yesterday because I didn’t prepare in the way that I should have. I asked a handful of questions and related the requirements of the position to projects I have worked on. However, I smiled a lot and blathered on way too much. I also expressed my strong interest in the position.

As I was answering questions, I was nervous. I might have come off like a nut.

The thing is, I had questions and notes prepared but none of it was very helpful so I tried to approach the interview more like a conversation.

Has anyone ever tried to compensate for lack of preparation by being yourself during an interview? How did it turn out?
