Background: I'm a 19 year old Canadian electrical techniques student who recently applied to a company that focuses on machining. They contacted me earlier today and offered me what I think is an amazing deal for where I am in my life. It's $18/hr starting and goes up to $20.50, 12hr shifts, 3 times a week. For benefits I get dental, vision, foot wear, chiro, vacation, and other benefits that seem really useful. After taxes, it's roughly $35k/year with the starting $18/hr. The interview is on Wednesday.
I've only done one interview for an entry level job when I was 15 that I had throughout 3 years of high school. Obviously a lot has changed. I've never done an online interview before and I'd really appreciate some tips on how to manage without talking face to face. I have confidence, I'm just lacking knowledge in this situation. Thanks!
