I had a prescreen interview today for a job I’m highly qualified for and would be very good at. It is establishing an office in my province as the company is expanding.
The only snag is the location for their office is 2.5 hours away from where I live, and I will not relocate.
I know that I can effectively build and lead in a remote/hybrid capacity as I’ve been doing it for 15 years. I also am willing to travel to the office often - but every other week I have my kids that I need to be in my city for.
I’m looking for tips on how to effectively “sell” the fact that I don’t need to always be on site, and what I might say to overcome objections.
Thanks!
