Hello -
I recently had a half hour panel interview for a Post Award Grant Reporting management position.
As background - my strengths for the position include client and stakeholder relationship buildong experience, process management/design experience, but I'm very weak in the role's actual technical requirements ( although these can be learned very quickly).
Takeaway: - the Interview lasted just longer than the allotted time, but only by minutes. - the interview mentioned some desired qualifications which matched my strengths - the interviewers were friendly and engaging - I was told they were in the beginning of the process and I would hear back, without hearing any specifics (it is a public college and this was more or less a screening interview).
Interested to hear your takeaways from this. In.my experience the "we'll let you know" line is rarely a good sign but it is just the first interview and they seemed to be more structured than most.
I give my changes around 1 in 3 that I'll make it to the next round, do you agree ?
