How intersex people are treated in our culture and its role in the larger gender debate.
Post Body

I feel that personally we are the exception that proves the rules rather than something to be trotted out by people who know nothing about it. I have heard from SO many people "But intersex people" the honest truth is we exists but we make up a tiny minority. I would never ask millions of people to up end what has been the basis for human interaction simply because .01% are different. I never see actual intersex people speaking out, and that is really frustrating. To me it is a birth defect, just as if I had been born without a leg or something similar. I can understand accommodations being available for intersex people, but is it really wise to change so much so quickly. Just wanted to get others peoples thoughts on it.
