I (21 non binary, white) have been with my partner (20 female) for almost 3 years. She is mixed but was adopted by a white family at birth. She’s been dealing with her own personal things with her race and accepting herself that I will obviously never understand because I’m white. I’m looking for advice on how to support her the best way I can. She’s exploring doing different things with her hair right now and it’s been hard for her. I’ve been watching videos on how to do hair with a similar texture to hers to try to learn so I can help her. I just wanna know what I can do to help or to support her in anyway. I would prefer if recommendations for other poc or mixed race since I feel it is something they can better understand than me.
