Why am I seen as “self hating” because I am hesitant to date men of my race because of trauma in my community?
Post Body

I had some black women literally laugh at me and say “girl you need therapy” but not in a genuine way. I felt extremely annoyed when I saw that.

I don’t put any race on the pedestal, and I’m well aware that non black men can be just as bad. But these black women saying in a mocking (non helpful) way that I need therapy isn’t kind or helpful.

Am I wrong?
