Does anyone else see “Thank you for applying to our internship” and immediately assume it’s a rejection?

I’ve gotten so many damn rejection emails that I always associate that line with a rejection. Just got an interview and sat there for a solid 5 minutes trying to process how that line goes with wanting to be interview me.
