Mom.. Dad.. I bought my first car, created a budget, and have finally gained financial stability and freedom despite my abusive family and disabilities!

I did it.

I got my car crash settlement. I created a budget and prioritized things. My service dog now has insurance. I have food and drinks, IN THE FRIDGE, THAT I CHOSE! I changed my room and got rid of all the plastic containers because on 1/1/21, I left the life of running the streets. I GOT SOBER. I re-applied for disability and had my case approved in LESS than 30 days! I broke free of their financial abuse and I was able to make my first, big purchase. My car. Well, SUV thing. It's a 2010 Ford Flex. I LOVE IT. It's a fuckin boat. Odins bed fits behind the second row perfectly. I got approved for in house supportive services.

Like, I did it, mom. I did it, dad. I made it. Once I get approved for section 8 and get my own place, I'll finally be.. truly free.

But, mostly.. I just want parents who celebrate big victories. Can I get some love?
