Can I afford to go to the hospital?
Post Body
I’ve been really considering suicide lately and want to check my self into a hospital for suicide ideation. The problem is, I’m not sure how much that would cost. I have insurance (United Healthcare Oxford Freedom Plan). How can I find out how long the stay is? If I do go in but come out with a lot of debt I’d probably just go through with it anyway. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tried them but was put on hold for so long I cried in the shower for an hour instead. Unfortunately I line in a country where seeking medical attention could be financially crippling. The scariest part of killing myself is, if I fail (which I have before) I would be so hated or pitied on top of the medical bill that would be slapped upon me like a car note.
