Finishing basement mixing colors??

I’m finishing my basement and wanted to white built in’s with a fireplace as seen in the picture however about 10 feet away is the basement bar with cabinetry that is brown (2nd pic shows the cabinet color but not the actual bar). Is it a bad idea to mix colors like that??
