My friend lives in an apartment with an awkward main living space floorplan (link provided).
She currently has the "dining room" set up in the attached garage on the first floor (not shown) and that's where she and her kids eat their meals. (There's no climate control in the garage so they all put on winter jackets when they do.)
I'm trying to help her come up with a comfortable furniture arrangement that would include, at least, a couch, TV, and dining set for at least four, preferably five. Ideally the back of the couch would not be against the windows. (Actually, I don't think any ideas that have the back of the couch toward the windows would be entertained.)
Any suggestions?
