I’m sitting here watching my 1 month old nap next to my wife.

They probably thought the same thing not so long ago.
Then you see this and it puts so much into a visceral and terrible perspective about how through some weird series of events it’s happening there and not here.
It could’ve been any of us on that side of the photo.
This is just so fucking awful.
