So as the title says I need a 2tb drive so that I can download all the pictures I have stored in iCloud.

Since the pictures are already backed up in the cloud and I wont be doing big transfers or anything, I am considering just getting the cheapest drive I can find.

So instead of paying 380 CAD (300 USD) for a Samsung 970 Plus I can get a Kingston for 199 CAD (160USD).

Any reason why I shouldn't get the cheaper Kingston?
