Skull canyon NUC6I7KYK dying? Suggestions.

I have a Skull canyon which overheats. I have tried new thermal paste and cleaning the fan so I'm guessing it may be beyond economic repair.
It may be time to replace it, and I'd like to do it for minimal cost so is there something similar I can put the 32GB 2133Mhz DDR4 RAM and M2 cards in and get similar or better performance? I'd like to get something of a similar size (perhaps with better heat circulation!). I don't mind buying a second hand one.
