MSI G41M-P34 compatible Cpu?

Hey people, I've got an old MSI G41M-P34 motherboard with the E5700 CPU that I want to upgrade. I just got a GTX 680 gpu but my games are still laggy.
I went to pc-specs.com to find a compatible cpu for my board but it lists the Core 2 Quad Q9705 as the best fit for my board. It's not as powerful as I would like (only rated 5.2). Is this site pretty accurate or is there another guide/suggestion list that I can follow? Thanks!
