Undervolt laptop while plugged in or on battery power?

Post Body

Hi,

I'm going to try undervolting my Dell XPS 13 9343 (CPU: i7-5500u) and I can't seem to find any information online as to whether I should do the undervolting process (stress testing and all) while the laptop is plugged in or unplugged. My intuition says do it while plugged in but won't that mean if my laptop is successfully stable at a certain undervolt while plugged in, it may not be stable as soon as I run on battery since I keep a very battery-optimized setting while unplugged and I'm assuming there's some sort of minor undervolt going on there.

Will this not be a concern? Should I just do it on battery?

Also, if you know a good starting point for undervolting this laptop with this cpu, that'd be great! Planning to start out at around -.70

Any information would be helpful! I am going to use Throttlestop to undervolt if that matters at all.

Thanks!
