Hello gentlefolk,
Forgive me if this isn’t the place to be asking.
I (M25) currently work in IT in Ireland, but due to the housing market and cost of living etc. over here I’ve been considering instrumentation as a career change and doing and Instrumentation & Control course in college, it’s a 3 year course by night. I’m not tied down with any responsibilities here so would be willing to emigrate after I’ve received my qualification.
Do you think this would be a good course to go down? Would my IT wired brain be good for instrumentation? Am I too old to be making a switch?
All answers are greatly appreciated, slán!
