Instant Pot Advice needed: cooking two 5lb chicken vs one 10lb chicken
Post Body

This year for Christmas we will be using an instant pot pressure cooker to cook two whole 5lb chickens. They squeeze in perfectly and we used the instant pot to cook turkey for Thanksgiving and it was the most moist/flavorful turkey we have had in all of our years. So we want to do the same with chicken but are confused on timing. Cooking one 5lb chicken requires 27.5 min (5.5min/lb) in the pressure cooker. Every pound you add requires 5.5 more minutes. So ONE 10 lb chicken requires 55min in the pressure cooker. But we have TWO 5 lb chicken. So there are a couple options for cook time:

A: use the 5lb cook time of 27.5 min since they are two individual 5lb chicken

B. Use the 10lb cook time of 55min since it 10lb of total meat

C. Somewhere in between those

Any and all advice would help! Thanks so much
