Bought the unit a few months ago and only got to try it just now. Assembled the IP, started the initial pressure cook with just water, preheat works fine but then gives me the C8 error once it reaches the "cooking" portion of the process. The whole thing is brand new out of the box, no gunk, no damage, no scratches, and no way its the wrong pot. Does anybody have any ideas? I cant return it because Amazon's return policies suck, and there seems to be no info for the Pro, since the Duo Evo has a similar issue. Anybody have any ideas? I cant stand the thought of throwing the thing away!

Threw it away, after 2 months of researching, attempting fixes, and being completely ghosted by IP support staff, nothing fixed the problem. Never buying this brand again.
