I recently moved to Canada and am waiting on my visa to be approved so I'm currently not insured. I've been prescribed Ambien in the states and have been consistently in it for about 2 years and it definitely does the job of knocking me out. I've gotten the prescription refilled once while I've been out here but it cost quite a bit to have that one appointment and I can't really afford to schedule another at the moment.
I just caught the flu and took a break from Ambien and took pm cold and flu medicine and it knocked me out and had me sleeping a lot better for significantly cheaper.
I was curious if anybody had any reccomendations for over the counter sleep aids that aren't melatonin as that does nothing for me.
Not sure if this helps at all but the medications I'm on at the moment are cymbalta, lamictal, Ambien, testosterone, and Clonazepam when needed. Incase any other sleeping aids might interact poorly with those.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
