When does lack of sleep become an issue?

Hi, so for the past few weeks, every night I wake up around 2-4am and can’t get back to sleep. By the time I wake up at 8 if I do manage to fall asleep I’m exhausted and through the day I’m so tired all I want to do is nap. I am on anti depressants but that isn’t new, the issues in sleeping are new and I have no idea why it keeps happening.

Is this just a blip? Maybe cos the weather changes? Or is it more serious than that?
