Inside no 9 is a big influence on my own writing and today I submitted a script to the BBC Open Call.
Post Body

Inside no 9 is one of the shows I watch to get excited about writing. As someone who wants to write intricate dialogue it's so encouraging to see how Reece and Steve write. Everything feels intentionally placed and it's lovely to see how much freedom they have to do what they want and experiment. It helps me feel more confident in making creative decisions that are for me and more comfortable with the idea not everyone is going to get or like what I'm going for. Not to mention, it's cool to see people who make stuff I like and want to emulate be successful.

Random top 10ish Episodes that get me excited about writing.

1- Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room

2- Love's Great Adventure

3- To Have and To Hold

4 - The Bill

5 - Wuthering Heist

6 - Merrily Merrily

7- Love's a Stranger

8- And the Winner is

9- Sardines

10 - Nana's Party/ Thinking Out Loud / Wise Owl
