Had an idea for a major mechanic that could be used to summon cards.

What if, to summon cards, you had to discard cards from your hand that met certain criteria.

For instance, a 1/2 card that required you discard any one card from your hand

Or a 3/2 that required you discard any number of cards with a total power 4 or greater

Or a 2/2 with a powerful sigil that required you to discard cards with a total of three sigils from your hand.

I have no ideas yet about lore or flavor or deigning cards for this yet but if anyone wants to steal this idea I won’t stop them.
