I just got engaged and my parents haven’t talked to me for days. I finally got them to talk to me and they are refusing to support my marriage. My dad is emotionally abusive and I have ptsd from years of abuse.

If they loved you an wanted what was best for you then they would support you and your fiancé. Your mom fails to see that he is emotionally abusive an sounds like she is sticking up for him in that saying they are “a unit”. If he is emotionally abusive to you then I can’t imagine how he abuses your mom, she fails to see that as well. Go enjoy your life with your fiancé, they will regret this choice when they realize you are happy and thriving without their opinion.
