So I posted my former Aukorth quite a while back (10 months ago, actually), when I still had a bad habit of making square blocky worlds. No disrespect to those who prefer their maps like that, but the images I had in my head were vastly different than what I was putting out on the software. I have improved so much, though, to the point where my love of faeries (and the fae themselves) have taken over this map with the lore I've created. Also having the map like below as opposed to a square really inspired me when it came to the different biomes and the mini-lore I had set up.
Formerly Aukorth, currently Printhyoma
This Aukorth, renamed Printhyoma (printh-ee-o-mah) still has Eukiyoma, but what was formerly Iushin has become Prinuth under the new rule of the fae. Elvenkind have been all but ran out of Eukiyoma, and the few who remain face severe discrimination and violent acts short of death. However, even those who went to Prinuth are safe only because the faeries deemed the entire territory unworthy of settlement.
… Oh? You want to know about "The Unwelcoming Hills" and the "Unforgiving Wasteland", without forgetting the Southern expanse?
Well, even faeries know when it's best not to meddle in something. The Unwelcoming Hills were named for the territorial Glacir (snow elves to non-elves) that fear nothing, not even strange invaders. And as for the Unforgiving Wastelands, this place affectionately got its nickname from the Mogtui (orcs) who also didn't fear outsiders. Except the Mogtui already had a trade deal with outsiders, which meant the new inhabitants (the fae, remember?) had less work when it came to renegotiating.
As for the Southern Expanse, well... nobody truly knows what's down there. Rumors have it of sand-bending people, but the days are too long and hot, and the nights much too cold, for any true investigation.
(takes a deep breath and wipes sweat from brow Well, yeah. That's all I have for lore. The Unwelcoming Hills is the setting for a book of mine, independent of the rest of the world, so feel free to ask questions about that! Hint hint: it involves the dragon at the heart.)
