Ok so I let my friend use my key fob to my apt building so he could get to another floor. He said he brought it back and left it in my shelf next to door. It wasn't there so I completely cleaned my entire apt and realized I wasn't going to find it but this was Saturday afternoon. So I basically lived like a prisoner till this morning not being able to leave my apt cause it locks automatically. So this morning I put tape on my door preventing it from latching and went to see property MGMT to get a key. It costs $5. Ok here's $5. No it has to be a money order. Ok charge my card. No it has to be a money order. Ok I'll walk down to CVS still in pajamas so I don't have my wallet f ten dollar bill. I ask for.money order and they ask for 🆔. I don't have it I just want a $5 money order. Nope you need an 🆔. So I ask countless people until finally a homeless person says hell do it after hearing me sound like a parrot for ten minutes. I gave him the change from the ten(3.75) and here I sit while property manager is talking on the phone with a friend about golf and all he has to do is run a machine that makes a fob by 5 the press of a button while my.door is still unlocked by tape and I can't get to my floor without it. Now I have to wait on maintenance to come in after lunch so I'm stuck on stupid now. FML!

Edit: maintenance never showed up that day so I wrote notes on property manager and maintenance doors saying I was done with them and calling the higher ups. first thing the next morning property manager was in the maintenance room making my key when I came down about ready to lay the smackdown on dudes job. He smelled what I was cooking and I got my key fob right then and there
