I love all the pictures and memes everyone shares but would be nice to read my fellow infp’s thoughts more often. Here’s what’s on my mind and I wanted to share:
Have you felt in more ways than one the disappointment and heartbreak of realizing you are not special after truly believing deep within you that you were? Could be academically, in sports, in what you mean to someone, superpowers even!
I think it comes from a combination of having a strong imagination, the role idealization plays in our psyche, our good intentions and the underlying outsider perspective.
Here’s the plot twist! Let me tell you, YOU ARE SPECIAL!
Maybe you already found your superpower, or you actually are the best at your profession, but if not, believe that no one can match your empathy, no one can give advice like you do, nobody’s hugs bring more comfort to friends and family and the tiny details you bring to the world around you everyday, even if no one might notice, actually make the world a better place.
Ps. Obvs self-conscious now, after writing this, but sharing it anyway. What do you think? Is this infp’s or just a personal random thought?
Ps2. If you have a superpower or are the best at your profession please share and inspire!
