I just want to share about my experiences of having a convo with friends. I just thought if it would be ok to bring up politics. I try to be open-minded and not make any friend of mine feel angry. I did share with some with whom I voted and some I didn't share with. I realized I made a mistake for not knowing everything about who I vote for. I haven't done enough research. I really regret and felt guilt. After realizing my convo with friends who voted for one particular candidate. I wasn't angry at them at all even with how frustrated they felt. I still loved them as friends, no matter who they voted for. As long as the friends are truly genuine and authentic, not toxic, and other things to describe a bad person. Unfortunately, I got unfriended by a few people, and one chose not to reply to my messages. I just want to hear from INFPs and even if non-INFPS. How do you guys have a convo in a calm manner while talking to someone who has a different political view and perspectives than you? Especially if you vote for someone and they vote for someone else. I just wish some friends and people would be able to try to understand both sides. It definitely makes me really sad and emotional that my friends didn't want to talk to reach an understanding. My heart hurts going through this feeling of being unfriended by people who I thought would be my friends. I just wish friendships didn't end bcuz of politics. I don't mind any advice and thoughts (I apologize to say about opinions). I'm really open minded, I don't mind if you vote for either Trump and Harris. We are all just people who just try to live.
Edit: I also want to apologize for not understanding everything. I didn't take the time to research and know about other things going on. I do worry and care for people and my friends. I def regret my decision and not be confident about who to vote, especially being last minute. I'm not quick at processing info compared to everyone else. I need a lot of time to understand the info and other important details.
this is bigger than just âopinionsâ. weâre talking about peoples lives now, so sorry but i agree with them cutting you off. if you donât care enough about the livelihood of others and you put whatâs in YOUR best interest above that, you donât deserve a spot in my life.
