One thing my INFP friends have taught me is to stop and enjoy the simple things in life sometimes. This has been historically difficult for me as an ENTJ, but I'm finding it easier and easier as I practice. Here are some simple things I recently will stop for just a few seconds to enjoy:
- Herbal tea. Especially fruit flavored ones. The warm liquid can be calming and comforting, especially during rainy days.
- Flowers. I used to not really appreciate flowers that much, but recently I've been stopping to appreciate them now and then.
- Food. I used to eat just to eat and scarfed down my food super fast. Now I try to savor it, especially if it's a food item that I really love, like sweets!
- The sunset. I used to be absorbed in work to the point where I wouldn't notice if the sun had set or not and it'd just be suddenly dark outside. Now I try to be aware of it and get a few moments appreciating the colors.
