I wouldn’t describe myself as a particularly approachable person; I’m fairly physically unattractive, wear a sullen disinterested expression in public, and frequently have my headphones on, and yet it seems as though people love striking up a conversation with me.

It’s not just when it’s me alone with one other person, people seem to actively seek me out to talk to me or ask me something even when there’s a crowd of other people they could talk to instead. What makes it worse is I’m fairly awkward so I have to watch their expression sink as I converse with them and they realise I’m an inept moron.

I wish I could just wear a big shirt saying “please don’t talk to me, I’m really not very interesting” but I’m sure that would only make people want to talk to me more.

Any other INFJs experience this? I don’t know whether it’s a personality thing or something about how I look or hold myself or whatever else. Who knows lol
