By focus, I mean relationships/finding love, career, hobbies etc.
Mine’s always been on finding love, because to my mind everything good in life gets better when you have someone special to share it with, and with the right partner that happiness is fresh every day, and [hopefully] will always be there. In contrast, chasing a career or sports achievements might have the potential to give moments of happiness, but those moments are just that, moments, and before long they become memories. Relationships carry the massive challenge of actually finding someone emotionally compatible in the first place, but I still feel like a deep, passionate and mutually supportive relationship with the right partner would be able to trump the level of happiness that could be gained from anything else in life.
But I’ve noticed that not that many people seem to place that level of value on relationships, and I don’t know whether it’s an individual thing, a personality class thing or something else. So I’m curious to hear what other INFJs focuses have been, as well as the internal reasoning and values that led you to place importance on that focus.
