I am newly dating an infj. He is EXTREMELY private and holds his privacy very close to him. It seems like in a partnership he is comfortable being vulnerable with that ONE person. But in general, he doesn’t want people knowing ANYTHING about him. He told me he was so mad at his friend for telling another friend they were at dinner together. Not bc there was anything to hide about them being at dinner, but because he doesn’t like people to know where he is or anything about him. Another ex, he doesn’t tell ANYONE his birthday. One of his coworkers accidentally told his boss and he said it was his worst nightmare when his birthday got added to the calendar.

Meanwhile I am an influencer who is EXTREMELY public and shares a lot about my life. I don’t feel like I need everyone to know everything but I would want to share my future boyfriend and family with my friends and family. I would want to be able to post him. Ideally I would want someone who was comfortable being on camera with me.

Every other value of ours is so aligned and we get along so well but I’m worries how big of a deal this “value” is.
