My gauge cluster was dusty so I wiped it down with microfiber cloth that came with my sunglasses. A few days later I noticed many fine scratches and swirl marks. I used the toothpaste method and it got most of them out but you can still see the finer ones.

You can only see it in bright light or direct sunlight but it's bugging me. I just got this car.....

I'm tempted to buy Meguiars PlastX but don't want to make it worse. Any experience with this or any other fix?

I'm incredibly OCD. I never noticed this on my other cars including my last Benz so I'm disappointed that the plastic can scratch so easily.
