How many follicles is too many?

So I am FINALLY doing IUI number 1, and yesterday I had my first ultrasound after starting injections and my RE pointed out that I had a ton of tiny ones, 2-10's, 2-9's, and 1-8.5. Is 5 too many, too few, or ok? She seemed ok about it, but my biggest fear is that she will want to cancel the cycle after I spent so much money on it. I only have the money and meds for about 2-3 cycles, and I am starting to freak myself out just a bit.

For those of you who went the IUI route, what was your RE's goal towards follicle size and number?
