So yesterday I had a D&C to clear out my ultra thick lining and everything went great. Almost no bleeding, no cramping. Things went as well as could be expected, even though I told the OR team that the table I was laying on reminded me of the gurney where they did the executions at the prison I used to worked at. I got a laugh from the team, always glad to get a chuckle when I am gorked out of my mind.

Anyways, everything was fine... Got home around 5, took a nap until 7. Still a little loopy, I decided to see if my husband had gotten my prescriptions and I fell down the stairs. I was lucky because I realized that it was better to lean back and land on my butt than to fall forward and break my neck. I bounced down about 4 stairs before I stopped myself. I am fine, just a little sore on my upper butt/ lower back, but dang am I bruised. I didn't need the pain meds for the D&C, but it was nice to have them after the fall. I felt so dumb for not being more careful!
