Hello,
I have only recently been exposed to the link to join The Silph Road's research team. Sorry if this is already well-known to everyone else, but seeing as there is no link to it on any of the TSR stickies or the TSR website, it has been really hard for me to find.
Please only join if you are willing to follow all of their rules, report accurately, and report often (the very minimum is once a week, with the expectation that you play for at least an hour a week).
This helps TSR provide accurate data for the community in regards to probabilities, such as raid rewards, catch rates, shiny rewards, etc. This is how they were able to calculate catch rates for legendary pokemon when they were released as 5-tier raids. Your accurate contributions help make TSR the forefront of accurate information on Pokemon Go.
Thank you for considering joining the team.
Happy Hunting! Catch some lotads today!

Edit: Oh, also please be aware that if you are doing research for TSR, you should not be violating ToS. That means that you should not be using scanners while doing research for TSR. I suppose if you decide that you do want to use a scanner, you should probably quit doing research for them. I have not personally asked them if they're opposed to people being researchers who have used it in the past, so if you'd like more clarification I would ask them.
