Hello!

Those of you who are on the discord or part of the facebook group may know that there have been First Saturday events for pokemon go in Indianapolis. I believe that they are also an ingress thing, and that these pokemon go events evolved from the ingress events.

For those that don't know, there is a meetup at the Fountain Square Family Statue (which is a pokestop) on the south side of Prospect and Virginia Avenue at 12:30 PM.

You can register your starting exp with the lead, and then compete with others to see who can gain the most exp. There is supposed to be a group photo and "free swag" for coming to the event. I'm sure you can decline either if you want.

The schedule is as follows: 12:30 PM Meetup, register your starting exp with the lead. Group Photo 1:00 PM Start gaining exp! 3:00 PM Trainers go to the check in table to register final stats. 3:30 PM Announce results. Prizes/awards.

I do not organize this event, so I do not know what happens if you try to show up without signing up first. I imagine that you still play. I am merely letting everyone know that this is something that is happening this weekend.
