Announcements for week of January 21, 2017:

• "For a limited time" every egg you pick up from a stop will be a pokemon from the Hoenn region (Gen 3). Yassssssss.

• Hey sorry guys, I dropped the ball on posting about the Silph event stuff this weekend. I was feeling sick on Thursday and I had little idea of what was going on because I'm having phone issues after switching back to my iphone 6 anyway (the battery needs to be replaced badly). Hope that anyone who went had fun and that you were maybe able to catch some shinies. Looked like there were a decent amount of people down there. My phone died before I could get the code or a shiny pikachu, so don't feel too bad if you missed out.

• On that note, if you didn't see the post, check out the new features TSR put out. You know, because since the developers decided not to organize communication in game, the users took it upon themselves.

• The next community day is February 24. It is focused around Dratini. I will not be here for most of the month of February, so I'm sure that the Facebook Group/Discord will probably have an event, so I would check the event channel on the discord server to get details about that.

• Kyogre is available.

• There are a number of apple products that will no longer support Pokemon Go after February 28. This includes the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s as well as some iPads and iPods.

• The Crown Hill gyms (and stops?) have been removed. This is a reminder to play responsibly. Respect park hours and respect the people and property (and flora and fauna) around you. This is also an opportunity for me to tell you to respect trails, pack out what you pack in, and be respectful of those around you and those to come in the future. I don't want to see your name carved/painted on stuff, your trash, or your social trails.

• We have a section in this post for gyms in Indianapolis that have given out EX Raid passes now. Please help us keep it updated by commenting or updating the google sheet (sheet 2).

• We encourage people to use discord to raid. This group has the largest amount of users. Multiple chat platforms are okay to use, but if you are using a highly specific chat for raids, you will probably have a harder time organizing a raid group. The discord channel has many raid sections. Contact Blazing Bacon (on discord) if you have questions about the channels. Also, if you don't know which channel to coordinate a specific raid in, you can ask the general chat and they will help you out.

• There is another discord that many people may be using as well because it is associated with a live updating map. I will link it here since this is not a direct link to the map itself, and therefore is not a violation of any ToS. It is very helpful for finding rares around the city (if you don't want to use the twitter accounts). I recommend using this for getting alerts on where rares and raids are, and keeping the chats to the main discord server so that you don't have to keep switching back and forth between servers. Mike's map is in need of donations, so if you use the map, please consider donating to help keep it free.

• Still accepting art for this sub. Message the mods if you're interested in providing any.

• It's okay to chat on this post. About anything. For real. It's lonely up in here. The mod's inbox is back to normal.

Previous EX Raid locations

It would be helpful if you posted a google maps shortlink of the gym location the EX Raid was at. Previous EX Raid Locations has been added as the second sheet in the google document for the nest list. You can add a gym to that list without even having a reddit account! How neat is that?

Silph Road Atlas centered on Indianapolis.

I use the atlas as a source to update the googlesheets below. Many people who do not use reddit use the SilphRoad Atlas, so it helps out more than just our community if you post nests there. But if you prefer you can solely update nests on the googlesheets or comment your finds below. I find our little Nest thread still useful because not only does it name the parks, it also provides a link to show where they are on google maps.

Anyone can edit the pokemon column. This leaves the sheet prone to errors, but I believe it is much better to leave a list prone to errors than for it to go without update for days/weeks, and I expect that as a community we will work to keep the list error-free. If you are aware of a nest that is not on the spreadsheet, I can add it for you if you comment below or PM me. Please edit the pokemon on the sheet or in the comments section. (Some users are mobile and not everyone has the google sheets app, I understand.) There is a warning message that will show up when you go to edit it. Ignore it. The warning is just to deter people from messing around with it. If you have any information for the cells marked "Needs updating" please comment or PM me.

This table does not automatically update. For the most updated version and to contribute to which pokemon are in which nest, please click the googlesheets link or the silph road atlas link above.

There is currently no way to update this table automatically. It must be manually updated. I update this post on Mondays and will continue to only do so until Gen 3 comes out at least.
