Shaft repair and bearing installs

So a lot of times we remove bearings and shafts are beat up, we we have to remove and replace them in place alot. Many times there is very little room to clean up shaft normally use emory cloth sandpaper. Is there anything out there that kind of auto cleans it like a powered collar on a grinder or something like that? Also had the inner race stuxk on shaft and couldnt get in with grinder or die grinder any suggestions? Just looking for new otions to make work easier. Thanks
