Another “genius” question by the maintenance manager and this dude has never stepped foot on the shop floor
Post Body

So this guy calls himself the godfather of maintenance and fucker has no idea where the machines are located

His question is as follows -

He needs carousel index cycle times for problem solving. He wants last 1000 to 10000 index cycle times obtained of that minute.

Now 1min is 60 seconds. The 60 seconds divided into 4 parts is 15 seconds.

The carousel max time is 15 seconds and min is averaging 13.5. It could go low but then the casting doesn’t set properly so 13.5 to 15 is ideal.

Now I can get 4 or a little more index cycle times in that specific minute but how in the god fuck do I obtain 1000 or more of that minute is the max and min cycle times are set.

This is a casting plant for a big dumb automotive company whose cars are highly unreliable. (Based on facts and what people say here at my work place not my opinion)

He wants these index cycle times for problem solving for an entire different operation which even I could not understand so I won’t get into that.
