So I ordered what I thought was a grown or semi grown lemon tree from amazon. I received a cut-off (can't think of the correct name right now) from one instead. My fault for not reading all the way through I guess...anyways, I got the roots somewhat evenly spread out and planted it with what I had on hand and then watered it with a TINY amount (1/4 of a teaspoon) of the 20-20-20 plant food nutrients ... Looking for any advice on keeping this guy alive? I set it outside from this am until sun disappeared from the front porch and brought it in (someone WILL steal whatever isn't tied down around here) for protection. .. Any info/advice/suggestions - whatever is much appreciated. I'm new to gardening in general. I also try to keep inside because I don't have a yard (aparment in a not so nice area in CA) I'm all ears!
