Hi Indonesian people.

I am from India. I think there is some similarity between India & Indonesia.

Currency name is similar.

Countries name is also similar.

Indonesia also has Hinduism and Ramayan. Let me know, what else is common?

I am planning to stay there for 3-4 weeks.

In May-June 2024 period.

Solo male traveler. staying mostly in budget hotels and hostels.

Do I need to pre book stay before hand.

Here is a list of places I want to see.

1. Yogyakarta, borobudur temple,
2. Mt Bromo trekk up or any sunrise trek which is available.
3. A famous place where the soil is black, people go by open jeep car. (forgot the name!)
4. Any fun touristic places nearby yogyakarta
5. Bali temples, shrines. Ramayana theatrical performance. Prayer in any hindu temple.
6. Uluwatu temple.
7. Any place where I can see great wild life.
8. Padar Islands (Just to take photos :P), komodo island 1 day tour.

My interests are hiking, sea beach, night life, walking across cities, historical sites, local cuisine.

I have never seen a volcano in my life, thats why I want to see Mt Bromo.

I want to avoid costly and crowded places, so I will not spend more time in Bali. However, there are so many attractions that I dont want to skip.

Please suggest me nice places which have great night life, great food, less traffic, good internet connectivity.

Please suggest any hidden gem places (Like Raja Ampat, I am not going there as I am scared of under water activities).

which sim card shall I get and from where?

Are there places where I need to be careful about scams, snatching, drugs etc?

Are there places like sunday night markets like bangkok, where i can buy cheap souvenirs, clothes, food etc ?

what are the must try food dishes? or suggest your most favorite food joints.
